Job Description
Title: Avionics Apprentice Technician
Department(s): Component Repair, Tallahassee, Florida
Reports to: Al Ingle – President/General Manager, Tallahassee, Florida

Job Summary
You will be responsible for:
- To learn all facets of troubleshooting and repairing to the component level avionics equipment for commercial, corporate and military customers. This is a career position, beginning as an apprentice, with increasing levels of authority and responsibility until becoming an inspector certified by the FAA. The expected period to reach this level is two (2) years.

Minimum Requirements

Completion of electronics training from an accredited educational or military institution. Training should include AC/DC basic theory, analog and digital circuits, RF and microprocessor fundamentals. Those with ham radio experience and/or general hobby electronics experience are preferred.

Documented soldering training and/or demonstrated ability to remove and install through-hole and SMT devices or willingness to add this skill by attending local vocational school on their own time (school fees paid by the company).

Agree to obtain the FCC General license within 180 days of employment.

Agree to obtain the avionics NCATT General certificate within one year of employment.
- Willing to relocate to Crestview, Florida, or Thomasville, Georgia in 2012.
